Civic Awards
At the Civic Service at Christ Church on Sunday 11th July Alan Fone and Sally White were presented with their Civic Awards from the Mayor, Cllr Helen Sprawson-White.  The great service to the town and community these two individuals have provided was recognised by the Council, civic dignitaries, families and friends at this service.  Click here for press release and photograph.

New Mayor of Frome
Cllr Helen Sprawson-White has been elected the new Mayor of Frome, she has been a Town Councillor for three years and is the youngest ever lady Mayor of Frome.  Cllr Sprawson-White has lived in Frome nearly all her life and knows Frome well, she wants to help the Town Council to continue to make Frome a better place.   The Mayor's chosen charity this year is the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance.  Cllr David Oakensen has been appointed as Deputy Mayor.
