For further tourist information, you may like to visit our Information Centre, which is based in Frome Library, Justice Lane. The opening hours of the Information Centre are 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 4.00pm on Saturdays.

The knowledgeable staff in the Information Centre can assist both visitors to Frome and local residents with enquiries on accommodation, places of interest to visit, local activities and attractions, where to eat and drink and provide general community information.

Frome is the fourth largest town in Somerset, with a population of approx 27,000, and has plenty to offer within the town and in the surrounding area. Frome is ideally placed as a touring centre, within easy reach of Bath, Wells, Longleat, Stourhead and many more notable places. There is also a great deal to discover within the town - Frome is a market town with a charming historic centre, has a wealth of architectural interest alongside a thriving contemporary and performing arts scene. There is a wide variety of shops, many of them independent and specialist, as well as national chains, cafes, restaurants and the twice-weekly market.
